In an EDP company
it is not possible to really motivate its employees, who have a heavy
work load, and to establish a long-term relationship.
Despite of big amounts
of income, many employees cancel their job and go to competitive companies
sooner or later.
As the employees
can hardly spend their money, the big salaries only slightly motivates
them.
Furthermore, in an
investigation it came out that the employees' wishes and ideas partly
went into another direction: e.g. insurances, internal taking care of
the children, time-off, company cars, home working place.
Introducing a cafeteria
modell brought the considerable change: Despite of additional services,
the company saved money and the short-term relationships turned more and
more toward long-term relationships.
